Bigbob.com's Webchat Rules

Rules that apply to all rooms:

You may not imitate or impersonate other chatters.

You may not pretend to be a Bigbob Staff Member, or claim to have "influence" here. All chatters are created equal.

Threats of physical violence and threats of "hacking" others' machines are not allowed here.

You may not post other chatters' "personal information" (phone numbers, last names, addresses, etc.).

You may not post the IP address of other chatters.

Discussions of illegal activities are not allowed here.

You may not attempt to "crash", "hack", or "bomb" the chat room.

You may not post links or advertisements for other chat rooms.

Constructive criticism of the chat room and its operations are allowed. However, intentionally slanderous statements against the room or its operators, which are clearly designed to scare others from chatting here, are not permitted.

If you use "proxies" to connect to this server, you may be asked by a Bigbob Staff Member to remove the proxy. If you do not know what a proxy is, this rule does not apply to you.

If you have violated rules and have been removed from the chat room, you are not allowed back unless specifically told so by a Bigbob Staff Member.

Rules that are room-specific:

Pictures which are considered more risque than "PG-rated" are not allowed to be posted or linked. The one exception is the Adults Only room, where all pictures that are legal to transmit over the internet in the United States are allowed.
Excessive fighting with and/or insulting other chatters is only allowed in certain rooms. These rooms include Free Speech, Teen Chat, Politics, Adults Only Chat, and Bigbob's Original Room. While in other rooms, you are expected to conduct yourself in a polite and respectful manner.
The Adults Only chat is for adults over the age of 18. It is password proteted. Posting the password in any public forum or giving the password to minors is cause for removal from bigbob.com.

This is a public chat forum, open to anyone and everyone. There is no way for the staff of bigbob.com to constantly monitor the system's usage, so you should chat here at your own risk.
