JUNE 20, 2005: CHAT IS BACK UP
The server's settings changed without our knowledge, requiring a lot of tinkering to get everything back up. Make sure you clear your caches and reload the chat entry pages (the one with the rooms list). Holding down shift and clicking the reload button will do the trick.
A few things have changed since 2001:
1) There is no more customer service. We're going to make sure the chat stays up, and that's it. We won't answer any e-mail. If you forget your password, tough luck. If someone says something mean in the room, deal with it.
2) The chat will run on two servers. One will be the password server. The other will be for the chat. Therefore, we will not be serving 100 rooms like we were in the past. We're looking for a few good, active rooms.
3) There will be no ads, and we aren't asking for donations. If you really want to kick in some money, send e-mail to truck@bigbob.com.
