Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange

If any of the above conditions apply to you, then the Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange is for you!

04/04/03 - UPDATE

We will put the Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange back up in its old format on Monday. We are not quite ready with the new system yet. The old one will run starting on the night of 04/07/03, and will remain until we have the new system ready. Thanks for your patience!

The Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange is the web's oldest Los Angeles Dodgers ticket exchange service, accounting for thousands of happy buyers and sellers of Dodger tickets since 1995.

However, it is now 2003, and much has changed since 1995! Rather than continue to run this site in its antiquated fashion, it is being given an overhaul.

Unfortunately, due to busy schedules, we were unable to complete the changes in time for the 2002 season. However, we will be ready for 2003!

The Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange will eventually evolve into the "Sports Ticket Exchange", allowing instant matches between buyers and sellers of tickets and memorabilia for all teams and all major sports. It will remain free of charge.

Thanks to all past and present Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange users! We hope you will be patient, as the new system will be well worth the wait.

What is the Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange?

The Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange is a free service which allows individuals who have Dodger tickets to sell to be put in contact with those who wish to buy. This is not a commercial service, nor do the operators of the Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange have any tickets to sell themselves. The Exchange was created in response to concerns by Dodger fans that, due to many factors (high ticket-agency prices, disdain for scalpers, lousy seats available), it is difficult and expensive to get good seats to a Dodger game. The Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange aims to "cut out the middleman" -- thereby simplifying the process of obtaining tickets by putting the seller in direct contact with the buyer.

What can I do at the Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange?

If you have tickets to sell, you may either post an "advertisement" describing what you have to sell, or browse the "wanted" page to get in contact with those interested in buying tickets.

If you are looking for tickets, you may either post a "want ad" for tickets you'd like to buy, or browse the "tickets for sale" page to get in contact with those interested in selling tickets.

Is anyone restricted from using the Exchange?

If you are an individual with Dodger tickets for sale (or want to buy some), you are welcome to use the Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange. However, we do not accept submissions from commercial ticket services, professional scalpers, or people offering tickets for events other than Dodger games.

Will my ads appear right away?

Unlike the very unreliable system that previously ran on the UCR server, the current version of the Dodgerwatch Ticket Exchange posts your ads and want-ads immediately, for "instant gratification" of your ticket needs.

How do I delete my ad once it's posted?

If you want to remove any of your posted ads or want-ads, please send mail to tutup@bigbob.com, and state which ad(s) you want removed.
